Sosha Belle, Producer
Sosha has been a freelance commercial production assistant, sound recorder, and video editor for twelve years. They became co-owner of Chiral Filmworks in 2021, and produced award-winning films Distance: Sex Work in the Pandemic and Pack is Here.
The heart behind Sosha’s work so far has been in their deep desire to explore issues of social impact through the lens of the underrepresented and marginalized, combating media misinformation by providing new perspectives to audiences on familiar but misunderstood topics.
For Sosha, filmmaking is as much a creative endeavor as it is a platform for community building and social change. From research to distribution, they have found unique ways to pull their local and global community together and unite toward a mission. In conjunction with successfully establishing access, fundraising, and providing creative support for two feature films, Sosha has hosted charity drives, run online forums, and arranged a grassroots impact tour of Pack is Here.
